Trivia[]

Design origins[]

Trevenant is based on a kodoma, which is the spirit that inhabits old-aged trees. The stripes on its body are similar to {WP|shimenawa}}, which represents spiritual habitation and usually tied to kodoma.

Etymology[]

Trevenant's name is based off the words tree and revenant, which is a ghost that terrorizes the living.
