Tedesco (Japanese: カレント Current) is one of the supporting characters in the episode: Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!. He is an undercover detective who is aboard the ship to try to find an infamous gem thief.

History[]

Tedesco was first seen in the episode Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness! while on-board a cruise ship heading to the various Decolore Islands. He was seen briefly looking around a corner, privately, at Ash, Iris, Cilan, and Porter who were speaking to a gem collector called Mrs. Ripple. He was not seen again until the Marine Cup Tournament was underway. While everyone was either battling or watching the battle, he snuck around the cabin area until he found Mrs. Ripple's room, guarded by her Watchog. He looked over his shoulder and looked at the Pokémon, then continued walking down the hall.

After Cilan discovered and revealed that Teaque, a person who entered in the tournament was the culprit that stole Mrs. Ripple's rarest gem, the Eye of Liepard, Teaque sent out his Vanillite and told it to use blizzard. It is then that we see Tedesco charge forward with his Growlithe and tells it to use flamethrower, countering the blizzard attack. He then orders his Growlithe to use fire fang on Vanillite which knocks it out and sends it flying into Teaque and sends him flying until he hits a wall, knocking him out as well. Tedesco then reveals to everyone that he is a special agent who has been on the hunt for Teaque for some time now. He also reveals that Teaque steals gems and is a master of disguise. It is assumed that he then took Teaque into custody, off-screen.
