Solrock (Japanese: ソルロック Sorurokku) is a Rock/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III that resembles the sun.

Appearance[]

Solrock is an orange circle with dusty yellow "horns" all over. He also has tiny yellow rocks embeded in his orange body. His eyes are squinted shut and the pupils are very small and red.

Evolution[]

Solrock does not evolve.

Solar energy is the source of this Pokémon's power. On sunny days, groups of Solrock line up facing the sun and absorb its light.

Solrock's name comes from "Sol", or sun in Romans, and "rock".
