Joyous Tower is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. Due to its restrictions, it's one of the most difficult in the game:
- The game is saved before entering.
- Any Pokémon entering this dungeon are reduced to level 1—though they will return to their original level when they leave.
- Any money being carried is lost on entry.
Unlocking this dungeon requires that Sky Blue Meadow has been obtained and Pitfall Valley has been cleared.
Notably, Joy Seeds can occasionally be found on the floor throughout the tower, and a number of Pokémon species are only recruitable here. This includes several of the game's starter Pokémon, such as Cyndaquil and Eevee. Perhaps the most elusive Joyous Tower-exclusive Pokémon is Chansey, who only appears on three separate floors, each with several floors between them.
