The Elder is the leader of the village Iris grew up in. She was first seen in The Bloom Is on Axew!, in Iris' flashback.
Biography[]
In The Bloom Is on Axew!, the Elder presented a young Axew to Iris for her to train and raise into a strong Haxorus.
She next appeared in a flashback in The Dragon Master's Path! where she saw off Iris as she was leaving on her journey. She gave Iris advice on having both good and bad experiences and that both will help her and Axew grow.
She appeared yet again in a flashback in Iris and Excadrill Against the Dragon Buster!. When Iris entered the tournament, the Elder watched and exchanged a meaningful look with Drayden. Drayden then battled Iris. Iris lost to the Dragon-type master, but the elder seem satisfied with Iris' performance.
The elder was mentioned by Iris in The Lonely Deino! that she once helped a frightened Druddigon that found its way inside the village.
She first makes a live appearance in A Village Homecoming! when Ash and friends visited the Village of Dragons.
