Crafty Shield (Japanese: トリックガード Trick Guard) is a Fairy-type move introduced in the Generation VI games, Pokémon X and Y. It is one of the signature moves of Klefki, the other being Fairy Lock.

In battle[]
Crafty Shield protects all allied Pokémon, including the user, from status-type moves. Unlike most shield-based moves, it can be used multiple times in a row without fail. It is ineffective against Perish Song.
If the moves, Feint, Shadow Force, or Phantom Force are used, the effects of Crafty Shield are removed from the entire team.

Confide has no affect outside of battle.
