Baton Pass (バトンタッチ Baton Touch) is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation II that allows you to switch to any other Pokémon in your party, transferring all the effects of moves such as stat increases and reductions, status problems, Substitute status, Lock-On, Mind Reader stats, and Charge effects.
