Hai[edit source]

Hello there, Eyes! I was wondering if you could change your signature from Image: to File:? You don't have to but that'd be great for consistency. Also, in time, we're going to have a user image naming convention, if you're okay with this, could I change your file name to match the upcoming convention? It'll just be File:Personal Image - Eyes.png. Also, I love the fact that you made your signature in users namespace! It's hard to get people to do that so when people do it automatically it's great! Sure, both the move and namespace change are fine with me. Eyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 18:00, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Alright, thank you! I've changed the image name! Jazzi (talk) 18:25, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

User interface bugs[edit source]

If one attempts to use the built-in linking option, no background appears:

Also, the navigation tabs are buggy on lower browser resolutions (i.e. low screen resolution or in snapped view):

--immewnitythemew 02:17, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

The editor issue is fixed.
The bug for the navigation tabs is part of even plain, unmodified Vector. I'll try a few things, but I don't think there's any way to keep them from reliably overlapping as they were designed to be positioned completely independently. If the Vector designers had wrapped both in the same block, this would be a lot easier, but unfortunately, they didn't. Eyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 03:02, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Figured out something of a kludge to help with the overlapping tab issue. They'll still overlap if you get small enough, or if the left tabs are unusually large, and it ends up pushing the search bar into the content as you shrink it, but it's the closest I can think of to a solution for the time being. Eyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 03:51, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
That works a bit better. Though, the issue doesn't exist in unedited Vector, at least not in this resolution: (only changes are color-based)--immewnitythemew 14:10, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Footer[edit source]

Hi, I was wondering if you could fix the footer at the bottom of the pages. The link still directs you to Marriland Wiki:About and, to my knowledge, I don't think I can change it. – Crimsonnavy T  S  06:09, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

My apologies. I think I accidentally flagged the notification for this as read without actually reading it. I thought the sitename configuration would take care of all of that automatically, but this wiki had several system messages overridden with "Marriland Wiki" spelled out. I think I got them all, but if there are still any additional instances of Marriland Wiki, they're probably defined somewhere in the MediaWiki namespace. Brazilian Portuguese wiki[edit source]

Hello, OOeyes! I asked Game widow about this and she said to consult with you first. I would like to create a Brazilian Portuguese Azurilland Wiki. I have already translated the main page, the most important templates, and a lot of other pages. --Mine4017 (talk) 18:04, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

One of the most important things we need done is the categorization, as described in number #2 in our Translation guidelines, in order to easily copy the pages over and clean them up here. That looks like that still needs to be done yet, as there are no pages in Category:PTBR translation. Also, to be clear, you're willing to take on the administrative duties on a PTBR Azurilland Wiki if we open one up? oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 00:08, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
I'm sorry. I forgot about adding the categories. I'll be doing that right now. And yes, I'll take on the administrative duties on the PTBR Azurilland Wiki. --Mine4017 (talk) 01:48, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Everything should be in the category PTBR translation now. --Mine4017 (talk) 02:30, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
I'll put in a request to get the wiki created. I'm aiming to have the wiki all ready to go over the weekend, but it'll depend on how quickly someone's available to get the ball rolling. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 21:18, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Ok. Thank you! --Mine4017 (talk) 21:56, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
I didn't catch anyone this weekend, so unfortunately, it may be a day or two more. I have to wait for the backend setup to be done before I can do my part. Apologies for the delay. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 23:47, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
I think it's all ready to go over here. Feel free to put in a claim over there, and I'll approve it as soon as I can. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 08:42, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for everything! I've already put in the claim. --Mine4017 (talk) 14:38, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Many Important Templates Broken After Your Edits?[edit source]

Hi Eyes, I use to edit these wikis alot, but took a break and now want to return. However, I noticed almost every main template we use is now broken. I can fix all but one, Template:Pokemon as it's locked to my editing. I created a lot of the other ones, or have been modifying them over the last couple years, so I can fix those. If you could revert whatever was done to the one locked template, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: It seems it's outside your edits as I tried reverting one and the problem still arose. Any ideas?

The problem was in Template:Type color normal and the light and dark version. I added those interwiki links by bot. That would normally be a completely harmless edit, but it caused those templates to include a line break due to the way they were written. Apologies on that. I think I wasn't expecting the bot run to hit templates at all. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 05:34, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks OOeyes! After testing out the Game Locations template, I noticed it was probably something most of the templates shared. Thanks for finding it, happy new years! :) Rahfal (talk) 18:35, 29 December 2017 (UTC)

No Active Admins[edit source]

hi, there are no active admins here, and there's some stuff to be deleted. What do you suggest we do? Cremia2000 (talk) 01:05, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

Most of the time, deletions are low priority, but since I had time to go through it, I just took care of it. I'm also opening up the wiki claims system, as it has indeed been too dead here and is probably time for some fresh blood. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 18:29, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

z-index attribute[edit source]

heya! so i've noticed that the z-index on many things in vector.css seems to be higher than it should be--notably, it's causing div#content, #p-views, and #p-search to block popupWidget menus (e.g. Alerts & Notifications) from view. since i only just learned css and am not sure what's good practice when using z-indexes, would you mind taking a look at it? --Eithris (talk) 03:07, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

More that the alerts, notifications, and such were too low, leaving no room for purely visual uses of z-index (like making sure the nav tabs stay above the box shadow for the div#content). It's my personal preference to use high z-indexes for UI popup content like that exactly so that kind of thing is unlikely. So I've raised their z-indexes to solve the problem. oOeyes Personal Image - oOeyes.png 02:43, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
okey doke. thank you :3 --Eithris (talk) 03:12, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
