Unown is a hieroglyph Pokémon. There are Unowns for each letter of the English alphabet, as well as exclamation points and question marks (as of Generation III). Unowns are shaped like its letter, except it has an eye somewhere in the letter.

  • The name "Unown" is based on the word "Unknown."
  • It is widely known as one of the most "Non evolving" Pokémon ever made.
  • The punctuation marks have droopy eyes while the letters have normal eyes.
  • Altogether, there are 28 known Unown.
  • Unown is the only Generation II Pokémon that has not been featured in a Ranger series game.
  • Unown is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 336.
