Trick-or-Treat (Japanese: ハロウィン Halloween) is a Ghost-type move introduced in the Generation VI games, Pokémon X and Y. It is the signature move of Pumpkaboo and its evolution, Gourgeist.

In battle[]
Trick-or-Treat changes the typing of the targeted Pokémon, by adding Ghost-type to the list of its types. If the targeted Pokémon has two types prior to this move, Trick-or-Treat will add the Ghost-type as a third type to the targeted Pokémon. If the targeted Pokémon has three types prior to this move, due to another move adding a third typing previously, that third move will be replaced with the Ghost type.
This move will fail if the Pokémon is already Ghost-type.

- Using this move on a Psychic-type Pokémon is the only way to inflict a 4x super effective Ghost-type or Dark-type move on it.
