Trick (トリック Trick) is a Psychic-type move introduced in Generation III. It has a Dark-type variation called Switcheroo.

Effect[edit | edit source]

In Battle[edit | edit source]

The user catches the foe off guard and swaps the foe's held item with its own. Even if only one Pokémon is holding an item, this move will switch ownership of that sole item.

Contests[edit | edit source]

Works well if it's the same type as the one before.

Super Contests[edit | edit source]

Steals the voltage of the Pokémon that just went.
