From the Azurilland Wiki, a database for the Pokémon series that anyone can contribute to
- Description
- This template is used on item pages to show where to find the item in each group of Pokémon games.
- Syntax
- Put the following code in the Location section on an item page. If a location section does not exist, it should be created at the appropriate level. In the case of item pages with multiple items in it, such as Evolution Stones or Shards, it should be listed beneath the description of the item and should not be given a section.

gen
is for the Generation the item was introduced in and can be set to I, II, III, IV, V, or VI. This is not currently important, since rows are hidden if there is no text for them, but it does allow for future expansion and helps prevent redundancy if someone enters "N/A" for everything, even if it was not in a generation.
- The other parameters just accept text describing where the item can be found in the appropriate group of games. If the item is specific to a certain version (e.g., in HeartGold only) or if the method of getting it varies by version, it should have the version it is for marked in a superscript abbreviation.
- If
N/A
is entered for any of the parameters (except for gen), it will show a message saying its location is currently unavailable. This should be used for items that we do not yet have locations for so that way it is clear it might be available in the version, but it just hasn't been edited in yet, instead of omitting it entirely.
