The Silver Wing (ぎんいろのはね, Silver Feather) is a key item given to the player by the director of the Goldenrod Radio Tower after saving it from Team Rocket in Pokémon Silver and its remake, Pokémon SoulSilver. It enables the player to encounter Lugia in the Whirl Islands, a place between Olivine and Cianwood City. It is closely related to the Rainbow Wing, thus their appearances are similar. In Pokémon Gold and its remake, Pokémon HeartGold, the player gets it from an old man in eastern Pewter City in Kanto.
