Trivia[edit | edit source]

Facts[edit | edit source]

  • Pyroar, and it's pre-evolution, Litleo, are the only Pokémon of the dual type of Fire/Normal.

Design origins[edit | edit source]

Pyroar is based on a lion. The male's mane resembles the shape Fire Blast takes.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Pyroar's name is based on the words pyro, a reference to its fire typing, and roar.
