Pokémon Dollars (also known as Pokédollars, Pokéyen, Pocket Money, Prize Money, or Poké) are the currency of money in the Pokémon world. The sign for a Poké Dollar is simply the letter "P" with two lines through it (). Poké Dollars can be obtained by defeating other trainers or by selling items. Much like regular currency, it allows you to buy items, such as Potions or Parlyz Heal. It was introduced in Generation I. It appears that the exchange rate is roughly 100 = $1.00 (US Dollars).
Trivia[]
- In the Japanese versions of the games, the currency is simply 円 (yen), which is the actual currency used in Japan.
