Pokémon Sun and Moon are the first pair of Generation VII games. They were released for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide (with the exception of Europe) on November 18, 2016.

Playable Languages[edit | edit source]

Similarly to Pokémon X and Y, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Sun and Moon is playable in Japanese, English, German, Korean, French, Spanish and Italian. However, players are now able to choose to play in either Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Region[edit | edit source]

The Region Sun and Moon takes place in is the Alola region, which appears to be based off the islands of Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean
