Parabolic Charge (Japanese: パラボラチャージ Parabola Charge) is an Electric-type move introduced in the Generation VI games, Pokémon X and Y.

Game info

Effect

In battle

Parabolic Charge inflicts damage to all Pokémon adjacent to the user (damages all Pokémon in a Horde Encounter). It also restores half of the damage dealt as HP to the user.

If the user is holding the item Big Root, the HP received is increased by an additional 30%.

If one of the targeted Pokémon has the Liquid Ooze ability, the user will not restore HP through the move but rather lose HP equal to what it would have restored, for that Pokémon only.

Outside of battle

Parabolic Charge has no affect outside of battle.

Description

Version(s) Description
X/Y The user attacks everything around it. The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by those hit.
