Trivia[edit | edit source]

Facts[edit | edit source]

  • Pancham is the only Pokémon that requires a Pokémon of a specific type in the player's party in order to evolve.
  • It shares the same species type as Monferno, the "Playful Pokémon."

Design origins[edit | edit source]

Pancham seems to be based on the giant panda.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Pancham's name may come from the words panda and champion.
