Trivia[edit | edit source]

Facts[edit | edit source]

  • Noivern has the highest base speed of all Dragon-type Pokémon.

Design origins[edit | edit source]

Noivern seems to be based on the mythological wyvern, a dragon-like animal, and a Fruit Bat, based on the fact that Noivern uses sound waves emitted from its ears to see at night. Its ears also resemble loud speakers.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Noivern's name comes from the words noise and wyvern.
