Pokémon Debuts[]
- Articuno
Trivia[]
- This episode was Articuno's first appearance on TV. It's official first appearance was in MS002.
- Ash uses Cyndaquil to instantly defrost Jigglypuff, but didn't do that for Sunkern in "Moving Pictures".
- Ash and MIsty fail to mention that they have already encountered an Articuno (or possibly the same one) in Pokemon 2000 during their journey around the Orange Islands.
- Ash says that there must have been a lot of Articunos in the past, just as there apparently were with Ho-oh and still are with Lugia. It is unknown if there are still multiple Articunos, as the one seen here could be the same one from Pokemon 2000, as Officer Jenny says that Articuno flies around the world.
