  • Greninja has the highest base Speed of any fully-evolved starter Pokémon as well as having the highest of all Water-types.
  • Both Greninja and Ninjask share the same species name, the "Ninja Pokémon."
  • Greninja appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

Greninja is likely based on a Tree frog.
