Gilbert (Japanese: ゲンキ Genki) is a Pokémon Trainer who competed in the preliminary rounds of the Ever Grande Conference against Ash. Gilbert wants to be a ninja, and has fighting-type Pokémon.

Gilbert's Hitmonlee battled against Ash's Pikachu during the preliminary rounds of the Ever Grande Conference. Hitmonlee was no match for Pikachu and Gilbert was eliminated from the tournament.


Hitmonlee's known moves are Rolling Kick, Hi Jump Kick and Mega Kick.
