Game info

Effect

In battle

Flying Press inflicts damage on a selected target. However, unlike other moves, its damage is part Fighting and part Flying. Therefore, it can be used effectively against Pokémon who are weak to either Fighting-type or Flying-type moves.

If this move is used while under Electrify or Normalize, the damage type is instead Fighting and either Electric or Normal.

If the target selected uses the move Minimize, Flying Press will land without fail and the base attack power is also doubled.

Outside of battle

Flying Press has no affect outside of battle.

Description

Version(s) Description
X/Y The user dives down onto the target from the sky. This move is Fighting and Flying type simultaneously.
