Team Flare (Japanese: フレア団 Flare-dan) is a villainous team active in the Kalos region whose main goal is to make a new, beautiful world. They also quest for money and have an obsession with being stylish. They are lead by Lysandre. Other notable members are the scientists Xerosic, Celosia, Aliana, Bryony and Mable. Team Flare specializes primarily in using Poison-type Pokémon, like many previous villainous teams, but also use Dark and Fire-types.
Motives[]
Team Flare primarily quests to bring beauty to the Kalos region, even if they are the only ones left. The grunts also seem to quest after profit and keeping in style, often taking about their flashy, red suits. Lysandre attempts to follow out the group's plan by using an ancient weapon constructed 3,000 years before X and Y and the power of Xerneas/Yveltal to rid Kalos of humans.
