The Eastern Forest is a location on the Friend Area Map in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. There are four Friend Areas at this location, housing a maximum total of 50 Pokémon.

Mist-Rise Forest

Mist-Rise Forest, deep inside the Eastern Forest, looks ideal for many Bug-type Pokémon.

Mist-Rise Forest is automatically obtained when the Wigglytuff Club is introduced, along with the Wild Plains and Power Plant.

Overgrown Forest can be obtained for free at the beginning of the game if either the main character or their partner is a Treecko. Otherwise, it can be purchased from the Wigglytuff Club for 600 poké.

Energetic Forest

A vibrant area where elemental energy--the life force for all things--rises from the earth. Unique Pokémon are found here.

Energetic Forest can be obtained for free at the beginning of the game if either the main character or their partner is a Pikachu, Meowth, or Skitty. Otherwise, it can be purchased from the Wigglytuff Club for 5,000 poké after the main story has been finished.
