With recent changes to {{Pokémon}}, some things may look a little funny. In particular, all Pokémon that haven't had their gender parameter updated to the new format are displaying as 100% male, regardless of what the old text says. It may take a while but I will be gradually working on updating the affected pages. --Eithris (talk) 04:35, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

Acupressure (Japanese: つぼをつく Point Strike) is a Normal-type status move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

In Battle

Acupressure randomly chooses one of the user's stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, Accuracy, or Evasion) and raises it by two stages. Acupressure fails if the user or target is under the effects of Substitute.

In Double Battles, Acupressure may also raise a randomly selected stat of one of its teammates.

Earn double the score in the next turn.

Contest Spectaculars

Effectiveness varies depending on when it is used.
