Meloetta (Japanese: メロエッタ Meroetta) is a Normal/Psychic-type event-exclusive Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation V. In its Pirouette Forme, Meloetta is a Normal/Fighting-type. It is known to sing, and its hair resembles a musical staff and notes. In order to make a Meloetta change form it has to have the move Relic Song which can be taught by a man in a cafe in Castelia City.

Meloetta will make its debut in the special Pikachu short, which will air alongside the 15th Pokémon movie.

Appearance[]

Meloetta is a melody-like Pokemon that has been known to sing. It has green-colored hair, which appears to look like a musical staff and notes. It has blue eyes, a brown skirt, and white legs and arms. It seems to have a microphone on the side of its head. When in pirouette form it becomes a treble clef. Meloetta is assumed to be female, although it has no gender.

Meloetta make its debut in "Meloetta's Glittery Recital". Meloetta makes its main series debut in An Epic Defense Force!, where it is revealed that Team Rocket is after Meloetta for unknown reasons. In All for the Love of Meloetta!, Team Rocket tries to capture Meloetta, but they fail. After meeting Ash and company, it decided to follow them around and gained an admirer in Ash's Oshawott.
