Trivia[]
- This Pokémon was first seen in beta art leaked onto the Internet on June 27, 2010 and then later confirmed by a silhouette for the female anime character on July 1, 2010. Also it was seen in a leaked image of Bandai toys along with Pansage on July 5, 2010. The official site then accidentally leaked an image of it while promoting the Daisuki Club pre-order bonuses for Black & White on July 8, 2010 and was later revealed within the August CoroCoro issue on July 11, 2010.
- Axew seems to get along with Ash's Pikachu well. In one episode, just before Axew would eat an apple whole, Pikachu came along. This is where Axew halved the apple, giving one half to Pikachu.
- In the anime, it goes into Iris's hair instead of going into a Poké Ball.
